Constructed by the Weavers’ Guild, hence the name The Weavers’ Bastion (Bastionul Țesătorilor), this impressive fortification has four levels with four meters thick walls in the basement and one meter at the fourth level. With shooting holes and two watch towers, its architecture is unique for south-eastern Europe. With its high-quality acoustics, it is a perfect venue for operatic and orchestral performances.
