The official opening of the vibrate!festival concerts was announced at the conference held to launch Braşov’s candidacy for the title of European Capital of Culture 2021. Today, the vibrate!festival Sinestezia stage hosted the conference held to launch Braşov’s candidacy for the title of European Capital of Culture 2021, the festival thus being the first cultural manifestation on the official Braşov 2021 agenda. Violinist Vlad Maistorovici, the Director of the festival, held a short demo concert in duet with his good friend, cellist Pau Codina, and announced the festival’s inaugural concert, on Wednesday, June 10th, at 8:00 pm, at the Roman Catholic Church of Saints Peter & Paul, on Mureşenilor street. Today, in Enescu Square, the exhibition of artist Sasha Meret was accompanied by paintings of the children from Crystal Children Association and Ray of Light centre. The children also participated in art workshops with the help of special guest Ovidiu Savu, from Casa Mureșenilor Museum. George Barițiu County Library was there with its collection of music books, CD’s and vinyls, and at 6:30 pm the audience came for The terrace with Remus Miron’s vinyls.
