Brașov’s youngest international classical music festival, vibrate!festival, was promoted in Bucharest, at Cotroceni Museum. Three young musicians who played in Brașov this summer: pianist Diana Ionescu (Romania), cellist Pau Codina (Spain) and violinist Vlad Maistorovici (Romania) offered Sunday, December 20th, at Cotroceni National Museum, an event named vibrate!festival Christmas Concert. The organizers were the Association for Music, Art and Culture, Paul Constantinescu 2009 Cultural Association and Cotroceni National Museum. The concert was organized with the support of the Presidential Administration – Culture, Cult and Centenary Department, and in partnership with the Embassy of Spain, the Cervantes Institute from Bucharest, Kaufland România, Tarom, Floria.ro, Aqua Carpatica, Domeniile Sâmburești, Kitarodia, Aurel Vîrlan Photography and The Cheescake. The program included pieces by Arcangelo Corelli, Ludwig van Beethoven and Robert Schumann, and the bis was Vlad Maistorovici’s transcription for piano, violin and cello of Freddy Mercury’s Innuendo.
