Imaginair: The Françoise-Green Piano Duo

Françoise-Green Piano Duo (Robin Green and Antoine Françoise) closed the fifth day of vibrate!festival, at the Multicultural Centre of the Transylvania University, with a piano four hands concert. We listened to Mozart’s Sonata in F major, Schubert’s Fantasia in F minor, and transcriptions of Back’s work by Kurtag. The evening also brought us two magical premieres. Vlad Maistorovici’s Imago especially composed Robin and Antoine and piece 88 for piano solo by Johnny Greenwood, which was composed especially for Antoine Françoise by the legendary guitarist of Radiohead, played for the first time in Romania at vibrate!festival, after London and Geneva.
