2021 | EDITION VII: “PERSEVERANCE”

We were asked about the story behind this year’s edition – Perseverance. Our inspiration came the Perseverance rover and the story of choosing his name. The rover’s name was chosen by Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator of NASA’s Science Mission Directorate, following a competition for all elementary and high school students in the United States that attracted more than 28,000 proposals. On March 5, 2020, the winner was announced – a seventh-grader from Virginia, Alexander Mather. In his speech, young Alexander highlighted the fact that we humans have developed as creatures that can adapt to any situation, no matter how difficult. The proof is clear in the changes and adjustments in each area that have taken place since the outbreak of the pandemic. We are a kind of explorer, and although by nature we are afraid of the unknown, we never stop facing it and every time, we discover something new, which means that we always win. This story is found in the identity of vibrate!festival. We did not stop any edition of discovering and bringing before you classical music concerts organized in emblematic places, we persevered and the pandemic did not stop us from this mission. The journey continues and we suggest you prepare for boarding, because we will persevere without time and space limits this edition.
