Young soon to become violonist Maria Izabella Dicu is considered one of the most talented violin players in her generation. First public appearance was when she was 7, with Concertino, by F. Kuchler, together with Opera Brașov Orhcestra. She studies violin starting the age of 6, with professor Elena Lepădătescu. Nowadays she is in school – 7th grade, at the T. Ciortea musical highschool from Brașov. In 2012 she meets the violin master Florin Ionescu from the danube city Galați, that instantly appreciates her and offers her the first lessons of violin artistry. In 2016 she participates to the masterclass courses in Ruse, Bulgaria together with Mincho Minchev and in Brașov, at the second edition of vibrate!festival, with Valeriy Sokolov. Starting 2010, she participates and wins several awards, trophies and scholarship contests in her native country, like: Pagini muzicale românești and Tânărul instrumentist – Brașov, Paul Constantinescu 2009 – Ploiești organized by the Association responsible for organizing vibrate!festival, Miniatura romantică – Galați, Timotei Popovici – Sibiu, W.A.Mozart – Târgoviște. Together with those prizes, she also receives the admiration of some renowned personalities of the interpretative and musical domain like Octavian Rațiu, Gabriel Croitoru, Constantin Stanciu. She receives a special diploma from the Association HOSPICE CASA SPERANȚEI, from her highschool T.Ciortea in Brașov, and from the local authorities and The Opera House in Brașov.
