Synagogue | Thursday | 11 June 2015 | 7:00 pm

An extraordinary concert in a place with extraordinary acoustics. At the Brașov Synagogue, Valeriy Sokolov and his Stradivarius violin wrote the first page of String Theory with Sonata op. 27 no. 3 Ballade by Ysaye. The next page was written by the Sonata for Two Violins op. 56 by S. Prokofiev with the help of Vlad Maistorovici and Valeriy Sokolov, and the thrilling finale was P.I. Tchaikovski’s famous string sextet, Souvenir de Florence, interpreted by Valeriy Sokolov, Vlad Maistorovici, Pau Codina, Ashok Klouda, Daniel Palmizio and Ruth Gibson.
